Fractional Leadership 1:1 Coaching
Spending 40 hours a week at one company isn’t working for most people - especially leaders.
And let’s be honest, as a leader, it’s truly more like 60-80 hours a week and being on call whenever your team or your employees (or other execs or board members) need you.
But is this sustainable?
Most of us have realized that it isn’t - at all.
And I’m sure you’ve said to yourself, “There’s got to be a better way”.
Well, there is.
It’s called Fractional Leadership - and we’ve been doing it for a decade.
Yes, even when people looked at our founder and CEO, Anessa Fike, like she had five heads when she started doing this.
But fast forward 12+ years and millions of dollars later, and suffice it to say that Anessa was onto something when she started the Fractional HR industry in the US.

For experienced professionals who are done researching and are ready to move.
This is not a workshop. It's not a group program. It's not a framework you apply later.
It's two full days with Anessa Fike — building your fractional practice from the ground up, in real time, with your name on it.
***This is the fastest path from where you are to running a fractional practice.**
You don't have an information problem.
You've read the posts. You've followed the people. You understand what fractional work is, why it makes sense, and roughly what it could look like for someone like you.
What you don't have is the built thing.
You don't have your positioning statement dialed in — the one that makes the right client say "that's exactly what I need" instead of "interesting, tell me more."
You don't have your pricing structured in a way that feels confident to say out loud.
You don't have your first client outreach ready to send. Or your proposal template. Or a clear picture of what your first 90 days actually look like when this is real.
You have the desire. You have the experience. You have everything you need to make this work.
What you're missing is someone to sit down with you — specifically, with your specific background, your specific market, your specific constraints — and build it with you. Not hand you a workbook. Build it with you.
That's this.
What’s This VIP 2-Day Look Like?
Day 1: The Foundation
Morning: Your Positioning
We start with the thing that determines everything else. Who specifically are you helping, with what specific outcome, in what specific situation? We write it until it sounds like you and makes the right client want to call. Not a template. Your positioning.
Afternoon: Your Pricing and Offer Structure
How you charge, how you structure your engagements, what goes in the retainer and what doesn't, how to say your rate without flinching. We build your rates, your engagement terms, and your standard scope language.
Evening: Debrief
What surfaced today. What's clear. What we're building tomorrow.
Day 2: The Launch
Morning: Your Client Acquisition System
Your outreach list — actual names. Your LinkedIn profile rewritten. Your content strategy. How to run a discovery call that converts. We build the system, not the theory.
Afternoon: Your Proposal and First 90 Days
We write your actual proposal template — the one you'll send to your first client. And we map your first 90-day plan: what you do on day one, what you have by day 30, what a running practice looks like at the 90-day mark.
Closing: What happens next
You leave with a complete launch plan, a clear go date, and everything you need to move. Not notes. Not homework. The built thing.
What you leave with
By the end of day two, you have:
→ Your final positioning statement — written, refined, and road-tested with me
→ Your rate card — specific numbers, by client type and engagement scope
→ Your standard engagement terms — minimum term, scope language, renewal structure
→ Your 20-person outreach list with individual message hooks
→ Your LinkedIn headline and About section — rewritten
→ Your discovery call question framework
→ Your proposal template — the actual document
→ Your 90-day launch plan — specific, sequenced, with a go date
Who this is for
This is for you if:
You have 5+ years of senior professional experience, and you know you're undervalued in your current setup.
You've been thinking about going independent for long enough that "still thinking about it" has started to feel like its own problem.
You're willing to invest in doing this right the first time instead of figuring it out through expensive mistakes over the next 18 months.
You want direct access to someone who has actually done this — not a business coach with a framework, but someone who has built the whole industry and run a fractional practice across 125+ organizations in 30+ countries since 2013.
You're ready to move within 90 days of our two days together.
This is not for you if:
You're in the early stages of your career and don't yet have the senior experience that commands a fractional premium.
You want to explore the idea but aren't committed to actually making a move.
You're looking for a cheerleader. I'm not only that. I'm someone who will tell you the truth about what you're building, what's working, and what needs to change. And I WILL fix your crown along the way, but with the real stuff, too.
Why this costs $18,000
Two days with someone who has 12+ years of fractional experience, 125+ clients, 30+ countries, and a track record of helping people 10x their income in 3–4 years.
Two days that replace 12–18 months of figuring it out yourself.
Two days that mean your first client comes in at the right rate with the right scope instead of the desperate "I'll take whatever I can get" rate that's hard to walk back.
Your first retainer client at $10,000–$20,000/month pays for this in 1–2 months.
That's not a justification. That's math.
How it works
1. Apply. Tell me about your background, your goals, and your timeline. I review every application personally. If I don't think this is the right fit for where you are, I'll tell you — and I'll tell you what is.
2. Get accepted. If it's a fit, we'll have a 30-minute call to make sure we're aligned on what we're building and what you need to walk out with.
3. Choose your dates. I hold limited spots for VIP days. We'll pick two consecutive dates that work for both of us. You can come to me or I can come to you — we'll discuss logistics on the alignment call.
4. Invest. 50% deposit to confirm your dates. Balance due 7 days before we meet.
5. Show up ready. I'll send you a short pre-work document — your background, your current thinking on positioning, the specific things you want to make sure we cover. 20 minutes of pre-work that makes our two days dramatically more productive.
6. Build it. Two full days. Everything built. You leave with the complete thing.
From Anessa Herself
I started doing fractional work in 2013. There was no playbook. Nobody was calling it fractional yet, and there wasn’t anyone else that I knew of doing it in the HR space. I built my practice through trial, failure, and learning across 125+ organizations in 30+ countries — and I made every expensive mistake you could possibly make in years 1, 2, and 3.
I eventually 10x'd my income from the $68k director salary I was making before I left corporate. I took nearly an entire year off for maternity leave, unpaid, by choice, because I'd built something that could hold while I was gone.
The VIP Intensive exists because some people don't need another course, another workbook, or another program.
They need to sit down with someone who has actually done this and build the specific thing — their positioning, their pricing, their launch plan, their proposal — in real time, with their name on it. (And someone to vet things with if they want to try something a little bit off course, to run thoughts by, to dive deeper with.)
If you're that person, I want to meet you.

Does this sound like you?
You’ve been an executive at a few companies.
You’ve built things - and more importantly - you LIKE building things! You’ve managed teams.
You have led strategic business decisions across the department and across the org, and you also have rolled up your sleeves to dive into the operational execution of that strategy.
You can see across the organization on how to streamline areas and improve efficiency.
You can see trends easily.
You have significant accomplishments that you can talk about as case studies.
You’ve built out processes and implemented tools.
You have made an impact that may not look like anything the company had seen. You don’t get stressed easily.
You aren’t afraid of confrontation, and you can push back on leaders, and you constantly drive for change.
You can make decisions quickly and frequently.
If you said ‘yes’ to 3 or more of the points above, then it’s time you looked into Fractional Leadership - and Anessa can help you figure out where to start and what you need to get going in this amazing career.
Fractional Leadership: Decoded
Fractional leadership is appealing to a lot of people for a myriad of reasons - more time to spend with your family and friends, more flexibility to decide your schedule and how much you work per week, more freedom to work on the projects and with the people you want to, and for many, more money in the door.
How much do Fractional leaders typically work?
Fractional executives work for a set amount of time (mostly between 12-36 months), are brought in for their expertise, lead teams like full-time execs, and work on both strategy AND execution - but they don’t always work 40 hours a week. Some work 10 hours a week with one client while working 15 hours a week for another.
What is the benefit of fractional leadership for a company?
Being a fractional executive allows you to use your expertise for companies that may not be able to afford you full-time AND it allows you to exponentially increase your impact.
What qualifications do you need to become a fractional executive?
Being a fractional executive is great for those that have had at least 5 years in an executive leadership role full-time with a few companies and have seen various business models and industries. Bonus points if you have done international work or mergers and acquisitions.
